Local Jabber / XMPP Server

Local Jabber/XMPP Server

  1. Download and Install ejabberd

http://www.process-one.net/downloads/ejabberd/2.1.2/ejabberd-2.1.2-windows-installer.exe

2. Once installed click on start ejabberd using icon on desktop

3.It will open page – click on admin interface.

Click on virtual host->Host on right side

Users->”enter username and password for users” -.adduser

Setting Up Messenger

  1. Download and install spark messenger

http://download.igniterealtime.org/spark/spark_2_5_8.exe

IP address of Host is IP address of machine where ejabberd is installed.
